COMPASSION & CARE Ministry
FINDING support THROUGH PRAYER & COMMUNITY
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to know Jesus deeply and make Him known through intentional acts of love, prayer, and service.
We seek to reflect Christ’s heart by walking with one another through life’s challenges, offering both spiritual and tangible support in times of need. Whether through prayer, a hot meal, a helping hand, or financial care, our desire is that every act of compassion would point to the hope, presence, and goodness of Jesus.
PRAYER REQUEST
One of the many ways the church loves its members is by providing spiritual and physical support in times of need. If you have a prayer request or care need, please complete our Prayer and Care form. When completing this form, please be as specific as possible so we can better serve you.
For immediate assistance, you can also call our office at (317) 827-8101.
CARE & Benevolence REQUEST
Care requests can be anything that you may need tangible assistance with. (Example: Meal delivery, pharmacy pickup, child care, transportation, etc.) Care requests can (but do not need to) include needs for financial assistance/benevolence.
Funds are available for our members and involved regular attenders who are experiencing crisis. We are not able to offer resources to those outside our congregation, and completion of this form does not guarantee assistance. You will be contacted by a member of our church staff once your submission has been reviewed and a plan of action has been decided.
Please Note: Immediate assistance is not available for financial requests. These requests are generally processed within a one- to two-week period.
Join Our Meal Train Community
Our church family believes in practical compassion — showing up for one another in tangible ways. One of the most loving ways we do this is through Meal Trains: coordinated efforts to bring meals to members and families during times of need — whether it’s after surgery, during extended illness, the birth of a baby, or other life events where a warm meal makes a difference.
NEED HELP DEALING WITH GRIEF?
A GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 13-week group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way.
