What To Expect

Welcome back! We are looking forward to worshipping with you in person in our new building. Our in-person service times are at 9 and 10:45 am. Our aim is to prioritize both your health and safety along with providing meaningful in person worship.

For those who cannot attend or who might be uncomfortable joining us at this point, we will continue to provide the service for you to worship online at home or with a group.

Check out this video walking through what to expect on a Sunday morning.

We will be taking the following precautions as we gather in person out of love for one another and to help protect those worshiping alongside us.

To maintain gathering guidelines, services will be limited to 140 attendees, and you will need to reserve seating in advance.  When registering, please select all members of your household that will be occupying a seat. Reservations for Sunday services will open at 2 p.m. the preceding Sunday and can be reserved through the reservation buttons below.

Before you come to the worship service, please take your temperature. If your temperature is at or above 100.4 °F, please stay home and worship through the online service. If you or anyone in your household are experiencing any symptoms, such as cough, fever, shortness of breath, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, loss of taste or smell for three days (72 hours) prior to a Sunday morning, we would ask that you stay home.

Out of an abundance of love and care for others, please be sure to have all individuals over 2 years of age wear a mask for Sunday morning services. You can bring your own mask from home or wear the one provided during check-in.

Please maintain a distance of 6’ from those outside your household.  When arriving, an usher will confirm your registration and guide you to your seats before the service begins.  All rows will be spaced 6’ apart, and three empty seats will be placed between households in order to respect social distancing.  After the service, ushers will dismiss attendees by row.

To ensure a safe environment on Sundays, all seating and restrooms will undergo sterilization before and after each service.  Hand sanitizer stations will also be available in the lobby, and all staff will be self-screening for symptoms before arriving on Sunday.

Your child (at any age) is encouraged to join us for a family-friendly worship experience. We know that children can be wiggly at times, and that is okay, but we do want children to stay with their parents during the service! We have provided age-appropriate materials to use during the service.

Your health and safety are important to us, therefore, we will be adhering to the CDC guidelines and recommendations put forth by the State of Indiana. This will allow us to provide a safe environment for all attendees as we put on the mindset of Phil. 2:3 and Romans 14.
Our staff and elders are monitoring the guidelines on a daily basis. While we desire to honor the government (Romans 13), we will continue to exercise wisdom and prudence when making changes to the guidelines at Pennington Park.
