Thanks for showing interest in Pennington Park! We know that finding a new church can be intimidating, but we want to make your visit with us a great one. Here are some helpful resources so you feel ready for your first Sunday service.
WHAT ARE SERVICES LIKE?
Pennington Park’s mission is to know Jesus and make Him known. As a result, every element on Sunday mornings is centered around Jesus Christ and is marked by joy and excitement for what he has done through the cross. Our services will include a variety of music, corporate prayer, and exegetical preaching and will typically be an hour in length. You can get a feel for our services before attending in person by viewing our Livestream page.
WHERE SHOULD I GO?
We have a team of volunteers ready to help you and make you feel welcomed on your first Sunday. When arriving, head to our Next Steps table located in the middle of the lobby to get helpful directions and have your questions answered. We also have a small gift waiting for you!
ARE THERE PROGRAMS FOR MY CHILD OR STUDENT?
Programming for nursery through sixth grade is offered at our 9:00 a.m. service, and nursery through second grade is offered at 10:45 a.m. Learn more about our Children’s Ministry opportunities and curriculum by visiting our Children’s Ministry page. For those in junior high and high school, our Student Ministry meets from 7:00-8:30 p.m. on Sundays in the Multi-Purpose Room during the school year. We encourage students to attend the main service with their families and friends on Sunday mornings.
DO YOU HAVE A SPECIAL NEEDS MINISTRY?
Those with young children, special needs, or physical challenges, relax! We want you to feel comfortable. Children might wiggle and be noisy, and that is okay. Those with physical challenges might need to sit, stand, or move around throughout the service and that is okay. We want you and your family here. If you need to leave the sanctuary please feel free to do so at any time.
You can also check them in to our children’s ministry in partnership with our “Buddy” ministry. You can request a Buddy to provide one-on-one attention by completing this form.
LET US KNOW YOU’RE VISITING
Ready to attend a service? Take a few minutes to fill out our visitor form, and we’ll take care of the rest! If you have children, this form will also speed up the check-in process for our Children’s Ministry on your first Sunday.
