Launch Leadership Program

Launch is a leadership development program for 10th–12th grade students who want to grow in their faith, develop leadership skills, and help shape Students Ministry. Through intentional discipleship, hands-on ministry, and monthly leadership training, students learn to faithfully serve the church and prepare for a lifetime of following Jesus.
Launch leaders don't just attend Students, they help build it.
who is launch for?
Launch is for students who regularly attend Students Ministry, desire to grow spiritually, are teachable, reliable, and willing to serve, & want to make a lasting impact.
Commitment
Launch is a one school year commitment.
Students reapply each summer, providing an opportunity to continue growing and, if desired, serve in a different leadership area.
Throughout the year, students may also request to transfer between committees as interests and gifts develop
Launch includes:
Serving weekly in a leadership committee
Monthly cohort leadership training
Ongoing mentorship from adult leaders
Intentional spiritual growth and discipleship
LEADERSHIP TEAMS
Students serve on one of three ministry teams, ranking their preferences during the application process.
WORSHIP & PRAYER
Living Worship. Leading Worship.
Help cultivate a culture of worship through music, prayer, and spiritual leadership. Musical ability is welcomed but not required.
Develop: Spiritual leadership, worship theology, teamwork, public leadership.
Connections & Outreach
No Student Unseen. No Student Unknown.
Create a welcoming environment by connecting with new students, planning outreach opportunities, and helping every student feel known.
Develop: Evangelism, relational leadership, communication, discipleship.
Discipleship & Communications
Disciples Who Make Disciples.
Help students grow in their faith by teaching biblical truth, creating discipleship opportunities, and communicating the ministry through storytelling and social media.
Develop: Teaching, vision casting, digital communication, strategic thinking.

On the first Wednesday of each month, Launch students gather for leadership and theological training covering:
Old Testament
New Testament
Christian Theology
Church History
Students are equipped to understand Scripture, discern biblical truth, serve the church faithfully, and confidently live out their faith beyond high school.
