The worship arts ministry at PPC exists to reflect our Creator as we lead our church to know Jesus better, and Him known through song, prayer, Scripture, visual art, prayer, and other creative art forms. The tech ministry’s goal is to help create a distraction-free space on Sunday morning where God’s people can gather to sing God’s praise and hear His Word preached.

The Tech Team is comprised of three parts: Sound, Graphics, and Video. We are the “behind the scenes” part of the worship team. If you like computers, music, gadgets, buttons , or knobs then this team is for you. You don’t need any experience, we can train you. All training will be done on Thursday nights.

  • Sound

    Do you love music and have an interest in audio engineering? We are looking for both those who have past sound experience and anyone who would like to learn. This position is in charge of both the sound in the sanctuary and the live stream.

    Time Commitment: Training will be held during Thursday practices. Once on schedule, Thursday Practice from 5:15 – 8:15, and Sundays 7:30 am – 12:45 pm (Once a month).

  • Graphics

    Also known as CG, is the person in charge of all the content going to the screens. Not only do they advance the lyrics during worship, but coordinate with whoever is on stage to make sure the correct scripture and or slides are on the screens.

    Time Commitment: Thursday Practice 6:30pm – 8:15pm and Sunday Service 7:30am – 12:45pm (Once a Month)

  • Camera Operator

    Works with the Video Producer to capture video for the stream and the various displays around the building. Using techniques like Zoom, focus, and panning, the camera op helps get unique angles for the Producer.

    Time Commitment: Sundays – 7:30am – 12:45pm (Once a Month)

  • Video Producer

    The producers main focus is the live stream. With multiple cameras to choose from, it is your goal to help those watching online to feel like they are inside the room. Working with the camera operator, you assist them in getting the best angles and help them know what is coming next.

    Time Commitment: Thursdays 7:00 – 8:15, and Sundays 7:30 – 12:30 (Once a Month)
