Our Children’s Ministry exists to know Jesus and make Him known in the lives of our youngest generation at Pennington Park Church.
Let us know you’re coming ahead of time by completing our visitor form, and we’ll take care of the rest! Completing this form will speed up the check-in process for our Children’s Ministry on your first Sunday. When you arrive, just head to the Next Steps table in the center of the lobby, and let a volunteer know you’ve pre-registered your family so they can guide you to the correct classrooms.
We provide programming for children 4 months old through 6th grade during our 9 a.m. service and 4 months old through 5th grade during our 10:45 a.m. service every Sunday.
All programming utilizes The Gospel Project curriculum which helps children learn the overarching narrative of Scripture while emphasizing God’s plan to redeem the world through Jesus Christ. Each weekend, children learn how to praise the Lord through large group worship, hear the good news of the gospel through age-appropriate teaching, and experience intentional discipleship through small group discussions and activities.
Families are also welcome and encouraged to worship together in our main services on Sunday morning in addition to attending Children’s Ministry programming.
Because all people are made in the image of God and have inherent value, our desire is to include and assimilate all children into our Sunday morning programming. Through this model, we believe the glory of God is most beautifully proclaimed as His diverse handiwork is put on display in each classroom.
If your child has special needs or a disability and requires more intentional care, a Buddy can help your child be involved and included throughout a Sunday morning. Buddies are specially trained volunteers able to provide one-on-one attention for your child each week and can be requested by completing the form below.
